ABOUT

Welcome to YZZKA STUDIO!

My name is Yiska and I am the Watermoon Goddess creator of Yzzka Studio.

I started Studio because of my dream to retire with my parents and I. As the first generation, I felt that I had to do well in school, earn a degree, and have a good 9-5 paying job. I went to college but I ended up dropping out because I felt that I wasn't passionate about it. When I was about 10 years old, I would bake cupcakes to sell at my mom's store. I would sell out all the time, that's when I started to be inspired to have my own business. I was always scared of doing it on my own.

My parents have been a huge inspiration to me because I've seen both of their hard-work and positive attitude to life. My father taught me hardworking skills and I saw how much he provided for the family. It was inspirational to keep pushing myself and keep climbing the mountain. My mother owned her own business despite being an undocumented immigrant at the time. It has been an inspiration to me watching her be successful with her own business of 10 years and taking that risk. She put her heart, soul, and savings into opening a small store, which she started with only 5 towels, 3 blankets, and 5 curtains to sell!Β  Her ambition and devotion for her own business showed me nothing is impossible to achieve.

Later down the years both of my parents supported the business where they began to be creative with handmade items to sell in the store. I would watch both of them create jewelry, keychains, and even clothing pieces. Without the balance of these two beautiful souls teaching me the feminine and masculine energy I wouldn't be here. I’m so grateful to them for being wonderful teachers, but also the support they've given to Yzzka Studio.I am honored to have passed down the creative gene from my mother's heritage and the hardworking gene from my father's heritage and continue on with our family legacy.Β  With its success, my goal is to buy a home for my parents so they can retire.

I've had other businesses before Yzzka Studio selling succulents, party decorations, and baking but, I always knew I wanted to have a business with a purpose. One day I found a box filled with old jewelry that my dad had made and it clicked. Why don't I recycle/reimagine the jewelry into something new? That's how I started realizing that this could really happen.

Now living in Los Angeles, I hand-make jewelry with love with the exception of a few special occasions my mom will assist me. We only put love and good intentions into each one of your orders!Β Β Β

We hope to inspire the light within you so that you may embrace your life path! I'm here for you! <3

Β From the bottom of my heart, Thank You for all your support!!! <3
